Hello, my name is Kevin Tepas. I am a current student at Colorado Technical University (CTU) pursuing a Doctorate degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on Big Data Analytics. I recently started my CS875 class that focuses on futuring and innovation. The purpose of the class is to learn different skills and techniques for futuring as well as formal methods of innovation and diffusion of innovation. The class is also set to focus on social impacts that come from change within an organization, social plans, organizational structures to support future changes and the ability to make informed predictions on industry trends and direction. My first impression of this course was that it will primarily focus on the influence and impact that comes to and from the social aspect of innovation. It might explain why starting this blog is part of this class.
It is quite exciting to start this blog, I personally am heavily involved in researching about new technology and innovation so this will host most of that. The purpose for this blog will be to share my different topics of interest and discuss current and future innovation in the fields. These topics include, IoT devices, artificial intelligence, space systems, automobiles, and biomedical technology.
